The Maricopa Treasurer has been informed of a potential scam. Some property tax payers received a letter warning them they owe back taxes and "an investor can steal your home for back taxes.” The letter urges the tax payer to pay on line with their credit card. If you receive such a letter please contact our office at 602 506-8511. The Maricopa County Attorney is investigating the matter.
